Pegaso FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marco Nocedo in the 5th minute. At last the ball reached Orlando Beti at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Venezuela. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Pegaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Imran Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andres Pello fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Dante Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pegaso FC's Andres Pello in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th minute of the match Pegaso FC got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marco Nocedo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Pegaso FC's corner Marco Nocedo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Patricio Sagulin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Imran Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Alejo Isak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pegaso FC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Andres Pello might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andres Pello ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Pello in the 34th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Pello came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Andres Pello came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 38 minute. Venezuela's Jose Correa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marco Nocedo in the 42 minute of the game. Alex Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Chicote the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Federico Giraldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute of the match Salvador Gisbert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Imran Johnsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Andres Pello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pegaso FC's Franklin do Nascimento was substituted for Andres Pello. 73 minutes into the match, Pegaso FC's Franklin do Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Franklin do Nascimento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Imran Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 78th minute of the match. In the 78thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pegaso FC's Imran Johnsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Imran Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin do Nascimento came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Imran Johnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin do Nascimento in the 92nd minute of play. Pegaso FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
