Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmundo Espiga got the match started through his kick off. Resistencia's Gaetano Mathieu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 2nd minute of play. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Bakker went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute Freddy Sabin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 19th minute. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gaetano Mathieu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Freddy Sabin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaetano Mathieu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. A collision led to Resistencia getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Melker Brummer hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddy Sabin was the one to do the kick off. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Sabin, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Resistencia's Gaetano Mathieu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Resistencia from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Ivan Navarro in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Resistencia's Genaro Illan. 68 minutes into the game, Resistencia's Freddy Sabin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 73rd minute, Freddy Sabin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Sabin in the 82nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Hugo Bakker notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Resistencia's Hugo Bakker, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Sabin couldn't finish the play.
