Luciano Azeari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. Barrilete Cósmico's Luciano Azeari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Barrilete Cósmico from getting a goal against them. With his leg Luciano Azeari managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Barrilete Cósmico booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Gallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanio Orkatz was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luciano Azeari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Fernandino in the 85th minute of the match. Luciano Azeari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Bolivia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Barrilete Cósmico's performance. The match ended with a win for Barrilete Cósmico.
