Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Casimiro Romero started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Vladimir Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute, Falcor Athletic Club's Casimiro Romero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Casimiro Romero hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Emilio Guifre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Postelnicescu's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Jiang Nan Han cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Emilio Guifre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute, one of Vila Nova FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vila Nova FC. A well-hit corner resulted in Juss Runnel heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 30th minute, Enrique Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimir Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Guifre having to interfere. Cléber Basso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Guifre having to interfere. Emilio Guifre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mete Nared, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Vladimir Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Guifre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Guifre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Lara in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Falcor Athletic Club booed when Vila Nova FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mete Nared didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vila Nova FC's Vladimir Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 57th minute Vladimir Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Guifre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Luca Postelnicescu in the 59th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Falcor Athletic Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vladimir Lara 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Vladimir Lara took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Guifre. Emilio Guifre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 80 minutes into the match, Vila Nova FC's Mete Nared sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilio Guifre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emilio Guifre came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Vila Nova FC's Cléber Basso. But to his dismay, Cléber Basso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Luca Postelnicescu sped through Falcor Athletic Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emilio Guifre. Falcor Athletic Club's Emilio Guifre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Lara in the 90th minute of play. Luca Postelnicescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Emilio Guifre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Mete Nared left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila Nova FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7.
