Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Romário in the 25th minute of play. Faustão de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Garcia in the 26th minute of play. Saiko FC's Gabriel Bati got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Fábio Torres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Faustão de Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jairo Trancoso hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Gabriel Bati had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustão de Moraes. Ciseski‘s's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Bati was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roberto Romário was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute of the match Ciseski‘s got a corner. Saiko FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yanniek Van Laeck ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 58thth minute of the game Filipe da Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Romário in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Sabóia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Faustão de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Fonseca in the 63rd minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Ciseski‘s got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Silvar. Eliseu Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustão de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Bati, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ciseski‘s's Faustão de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Torres in the 75th minute of play. Gabriel Bati's late challenge caught a Ciseski‘s's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Bati helped the player get up and apologised. Ciseski‘s made a substitution. Valdo Branco replaced Thiago Silvar. Gabriel Bati kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Roberto Romário sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Ciseski‘s's Edmond Boureau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Sabóia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Zé Sabóia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmond Boureau went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Ciseski‘s's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
