Faustão de Moraes made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Cléber Basso sent off a good shot on target. If Dé Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 minutes, Guilherme de Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vila Nova FC and the Ciseski‘s players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vila Nova FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. After having played for 35 minutes, Vladimir Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila Nova FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimir Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Vila Nova FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ciseski‘s's performance. The match ended with a win for Ciseski‘s.
