The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Socanelas FC got a freekick which was hit by Haitz Fabelo. Edvaldo Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from J.J J.J., even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tanek Dziechciowski struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Paco Zamora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Socanelas FC. If Vinícius Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexsandro Romero in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvaldo Tande saved Socanelas FC from getting behind. Paco Zamora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Dziechciowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Ludomir Domin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Tanek Dziechciowski in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GALATASARAY O.Z.'s J.J J.J.. Vinícius Urbano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paco Zamora read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play.

53 minutes into the game, Vinícius Urbano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Socanelas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GALATASARAY O.Z. the free kick. In the 54th match minute, Socanelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius Urbano to maneuver through the defense. Rafet Ergül charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafet Ergül the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to GALATASARAY O.Z. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Rafet Ergül hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY O.Z.'s goalkeeper Paco Zamora had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tanek Dziechciowski. If Yao Kun Lei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to GALATASARAY O.Z. getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rafet Ergül hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Socanelas FC's Haitz Fabelo got a free kick in the 71st minute. Paco Zamora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanek Dziechciowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Paco Zamora proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY O.Z. from getting a goal against them. Paco Zamora didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tanek Dziechciowski went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Hüseyin Cahit Ongunes's late challenge caught a Socanelas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hüseyin Cahit Ongunes helped the player get up and apologised. Hüseyin Cahit Ongunes hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Alexsandro Romero fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GALATASARAY O.Z.'s protests and gave Alexsandro Romero a yellow card for diving instead. Socanelas FC's Valério Trigo was substituted for Vinícius Urbano. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Alexsandro Romero got a free kick in the 90th minute. Tanek Dziechciowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paco Zamora. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tanek Dziechciowski ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that J.J J.J.'s extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvaldo Tande was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Valério Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Paco Zamora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Socanelas FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
