The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ludomir Domin was slow to take the kick. During this time GALATASARAY O.Z.'s players had a chance to rest. Ludomir Domin made a great header on GALATASARAY O.Z.'s corner, it was just that Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia managed to reach the ball for a save. J.J J.J.'s shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Sabóia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Fábio Torres kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paco Zamora. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Paco Zamora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Bati in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Ambrossi Bin Berrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paco Zamora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseu Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Yao Kun Lei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Sabóia was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Seppo Palsola got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Alexsandro Romero came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the GALATASARAY O.Z. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexsandro Romero couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Seppo Palsola put in a rough tackle. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GALATASARAY O.Z.! After a defensive mix-up in Saiko FC's zone, J.J J.J. stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Sabóia came out of the goal and J.J J.J. tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paco Zamora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Bati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. J.J J.J. fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Sabóia having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Eliseu Fonseca could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Paco Zamora however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. J.J J.J. was the one to do the kick off. Paco Zamora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Bati in the 51st minute of play. Paco Zamora came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Saiko FC's Gabriel Bati. But to his dismay, Gabriel Bati quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a little luck, Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia got control of the ball when Yao Kun Lei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paco Zamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Torres in the 59th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Bati's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paco Zamora was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Bati in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paco Zamora prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Saiko FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Décio Dionísio hit a great ball. Saiko FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of GALATASARAY O.Z. for a fine match.
