An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Orhan Yalvaç in the 13th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Rios in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orhan Seyfi Üstün saved H E P T A N from getting behind. After some careless play in the H E P T A N defense, Lino Rios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orhan Seyfi Üstün. The H E P T A N fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orhan Seyfi Üstün should have stopped the shot. Lino Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Rios to strike the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Ekber Sadir in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham. Lino Rios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orhan Seyfi Üstün read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Abilio to maneuver through the defense. When Aytuğ Nezihi came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the H E P T A N fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aytuğ Nezihi couldn't finish the play. After having played for 94 minutes, Christoff Stocks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC FUSION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christoff Stocks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The AFC FUSION supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AFC FUSION would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
