Toni Kroos MGZ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almeyra F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Almeyra F.C. booed when Toni Kroos MGZ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Almeyra F.C.'s Saverio Locaio got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute Adan Otsoko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hu Yao Nan in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristo Colas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Toni Kroos MGZ™'s attentive Felice Garibaldi managed to snatch the ball when Paolo Indar made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. Cristo Colas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hu Yao Nan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Almeyra F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hu Yao Nan was slow to take the kick. During this time Toni Kroos MGZ™'s players had a chance to rest. Robert-Jan ten Rouwelaar was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristo Colas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Régis Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Xabat in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Hu Yao Nan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristo Colas. Almeyra F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hu Yao Nan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Locaio in the 37th minute of play forced Toni Kroos MGZ™'s goalkeeper Régis Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Adan Otsoko notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Régis Leite. Régis Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th minute Saverio Locaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47thth minute of the game Hu Yao Nan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almeyra F.C.'s Cristo Colas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Hu Yao Nan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristo Colas was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adan Otsoko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Régis Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adan Otsoko in the 55th minute. In the 64th minute Danilo Remir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Samuel Muno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Almeyra F.C. getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Samuel Muno hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Hu Yao Nan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Colas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Colas came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Hu Yao Nan. But to his dismay, Hu Yao Nan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Almeyra F.C. made a substitution. Braulio Txanton replaced Adan Otsoko. In the 76th minute, Bonifacio Dimo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristo Colas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hu Yao Nan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Cayetano Sarracino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Hu Yao Nan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Cristo Colas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hu Yao Nan charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hu Yao Nan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hu Yao Nan hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Régis Leite was a little too slow when Cayetano Sarracino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 3-3. Régis Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Braulio Txanton in the 94th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Hu Yao Nan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toni Kroos MGZ™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Hu Yao Nan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Colas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
