An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexsandro Romero in the 20th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match AFC FUSION got a corner. GALATASARAY O.Z.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dawid Beckham ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Lino Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC FUSION's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Rios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paco Zamora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Rios in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paco Zamora prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY O.Z.'s goalkeeper Paco Zamora had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Rios. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yao Kun Lei, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AFC FUSION fans cheered their team off the field, for while GALATASARAY O.Z. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
