In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Barra EC's goalkeeper Romeu Borges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, Barra EC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilian Lopez came free, but Romeu Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lunáticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilian Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeu Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilian Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Wilian Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Borges having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilian Lopez in the 79th minute of play forced Barra EC's goalkeeper Romeu Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Lunáticos's Murilo Marinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeu Borges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Paranaense hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Barra EC's Pedro Luiz Souto was substituted for Ismael Paraense. Romeu Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barra EC may have spent more time on the ball, but Lunáticos were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
