In the 9th minute of the match Vinícius Urbano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fiori Mota skillfully saved the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Tanek Dziechciowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fiori Mota. In the 37th minute Vinícius Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vila Nova FC's Fiori Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Dziechciowski in the 43rd minute of play. With a little luck, Socanelas FC's Edvaldo Tande got control of the ball when Mete Nared tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tanek Dziechciowski to make the kick off.
