The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Lino Rios came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the AFC FUSION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Rios couldn't finish the play. A collision led to H E P T A N getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ekber Sadir hit a great ball. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind H E P T A N's goalkeeper Orhan Seyfi Üstün, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orhan Seyfi Üstün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ekber Sadir hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, H E P T A N's goalkeeper Orhan Seyfi Üstün had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Rios. 15 minutes into the game, Arman Başarman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. H E P T A N's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC FUSION the free kick. In the 19th minute, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Orhan Seyfi Üstün. Orhan Seyfi Üstün yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when İlhami Akkurt came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute of the game, Germano Bettencourt landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. AFC FUSION made a substitution. Christoff Stocks replaced Germano Bettencourt. In the 26th minute, Kıraç Ergüden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lino Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Orhan Seyfi Üstün made a huge save. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murat Şenalp in the 31st minute of play. Lino Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Orhan Seyfi Üstün made a huge save. Orhan Seyfi Üstün stood somewhat misplaced when Lino Rios came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 37 minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Orhan Yalvaç to make the kick off. Paul Vase hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Ahmet Ziya Bilginer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Lino Rios left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Rios in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orhan Seyfi Üstün saved H E P T A N from getting behind. Roberto Eztebe was a little too slow when Ahmet Ziya Bilginer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 6-1. AFC FUSION's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
