With an all-out effort, H E P T A N's Faustão de Moraes threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ali Orhan Yalvaç, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Orhan Seyfi Üstün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Romário, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes in the game, Roberto Romário dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 19th minute of the match, Kahraman Sancar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Faustão de Moraes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. H E P T A N's Orhan Seyfi Üstün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Romário in the 23rd minute of play. Kahraman Sancar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Faustão de Moraes made a huge save. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ciseski‘s's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aytuğ Nezihi was slow to take the kick. During this time H E P T A N's players had a chance to rest. The corner led H E P T A N's Arman Başarman to a score. 2-1 in the 28th minute.
