Ali Orhan Yalvaç started the match with the kick off. With his leg Orhan Seyfi Üstün managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Vila Nova FC's Mete Nared fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 5 minutes into the game, Arman Başarman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fiori Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Orhan Seyfi Üstün made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cléber Basso in the 10th minute. Jiang Nan Han kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Aytuğ Nezihi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vila Nova FC's Fiori Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arman Başarman in the 17th minute of play. Mete Nared received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Orhan Seyfi Üstün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orhan Seyfi Üstün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Postelnicescu in the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute Arman Başarman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Luca Postelnicescu made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Luca Postelnicescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but H E P T A N's Orhan Seyfi Üstün was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Vila Nova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Murat Şenalp came free, but Fiori Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Vila Nova FC booed when H E P T A N was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ekber Sadir didn't get a good kick on the ball. H E P T A N made a substitution. Refik Akdoğan replaced Murat Şenalp. After a rather tough play, H E P T A N's Ekber Sadir got a free kick in the 57th minute. Orhan Seyfi Üstün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Postelnicescu in the 80th minute of play. Orhan Seyfi Üstün came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Vila Nova FC's Mete Nared. But to his dismay, Mete Nared quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Vila Nova FC's Vladimir Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. H E P T A N's Orhan Seyfi Üstün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mete Nared in the 86th minute of play. Orhan Seyfi Üstün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Postelnicescu in the 88th minute of play. When Ali Orhan Yalvaç came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the H E P T A N fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Orhan Yalvaç couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched H E P T A N eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
