When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabio Lehior made a kick off. If Fabio Lehior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Fabio Lehior's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno de Alcântara having to interfere. Sinchyteam's Nuno de Alcântara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Sinchyteam from getting a goal against them. Costa Rica succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sinchyteam had controlled the match.
