The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Edmundo Espiga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Cucao. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Edmundo Espiga in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David Cucao, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 20th minute, Sebastian Villa made a precise shot to the right of David Cucao. Tetes Titans's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 25th minute of play forced Tetes Titans's goalkeeper David Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but David Cucao made a huge save. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Cucao having to interfere. Lisandro Orland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Luca Espinar hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cosme Eguen made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Cucao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciro Salvatore kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Cucao was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. David Cucao was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
