Max Ferro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 37 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boruc Jaraczeski, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Gaztea Valensuela's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tao Cheng Zhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 54th minute, Agustín Saelices reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tao Cheng Zhi. The goal made the score 1-1. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaztea Valensuela's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match Aquilino Maties shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Boruc Jaraczeski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaztea Valensuela in the 69th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludomir Dziatkowski hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tao Cheng Zhi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by EL RUSSO FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tao Cheng Zhi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomir Dziatkowski in the 90th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olgierd Prusek hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
