Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sidnei Branco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Paulão Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 5 minutes of play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulão Corrêa was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 11th minute of play forced Lakers FC's goalkeeper Paulão Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lakers FC's Percival Magalhães got a free kick in the 12th minute. Percival Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Clóvis Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Jaime Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Percival Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pardo in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulão Corrêa saved Lakers FC from getting behind. When Paraguay's Jaime Pardo, in the 30th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. A collision led to Lakers FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Percival Magalhães hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Xavier Zoido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Adhemar Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sidnei Branco hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Alan Campos hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clóvis Velloso's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clóvis Velloso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lakers FC's Clóvis Velloso got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavier Zoido during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Sidnei Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulão Corrêa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percival Magalhães in the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Sidnei Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Sidnei Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Lakers FC's Clóvis Velloso got a free kick in the 70th minute. Jaime Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Sidnei Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lakers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidnei Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulão Corrêa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Lakers FC's Clóvis Velloso got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Paraguay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lakers FC throughout the match.
