In the 13th minute, Mish Fútbol Club's Erik Ljusberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Ljusberg in the 18th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Ljusberg in the 21st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Ljusberg in the 25th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Ronaldo Fitriansyah took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Mish Fútbol Club's Matias Chumo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guillermo Mariano, made in the 30th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Ljusberg in the 31st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldo Fitriansyah took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Mariano during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mish Fútbol Club's Hachemi Fitriansyah was substituted for Mehmet Ferit Zafir. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Ljusberg in the 40th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mish Fútbol Club booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erik Ljusberg went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute, Erik Ljusberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Erik Ljusberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 69th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Ljusberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Ronaldo Fitriansyah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
