After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Tom Misaki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Heigo Luiga scored 2-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tom Misaki came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. In the 23rd minute, Tom Misaki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Heigo Luiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. C.A.Independiente's Heigo Luiga got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, C.A.Independiente's Lisandro Mederi got a free kick in the 42nd minute. It was beautiful to see Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in action when he in the 44th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tom Misaki in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. C.A.Independiente's Buford Lim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Independiente from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute Tom Misaki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Buford Lim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 91 minutes of play, C.A.Independiente's Justino Confesor made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Tom Misaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A.Independiente were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
