Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Ecuador booed when Pucará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Sayveon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dario Artizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luis Andino got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Ecuador. Lautaro Morales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pucará's goalie prevented a goal. Lautaro Morales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Morales didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Pepe Sand's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pepe Sand helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Julio Vera acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 37th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Basilio Bertran. 38 minutes into the match, Pucará's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Lautaro Morales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pepe Sand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Dario Artizar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pucará's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Artizar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Lautaro Morales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Basilio Bertran kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Lautaro Morales skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 62 minutes into the match, Pucará's goalkeeper Lautaro Morales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. 65 minutes into the game, Tomás Belmonte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pucará's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 65 played minutes Pucará got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Belmonte. Pucará's Benedicto Caitano was substituted for Bernabe Olivar. In the 68th minute Pepe Sand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lautaro Morales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pucará made a substitution. Franco Orozco replaced Pepe Sand. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Orozco in the 82nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Franco Orozco made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Morales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Morales came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 88th minute. A collision led to Pucará getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Timoteo Martxot hit a great ball.
