Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Joshua Secada notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SOUTH THUNDER's Sebastian Xabier. Sebastian Xabier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Sebastian Xabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Venezuela booed when SOUTH THUNDER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Procopio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joshua Secada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Xabier having to interfere. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SOUTH THUNDER's Sebastian Xabier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Jeronimo Errapel made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Sebastian Xabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Arias in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Arias came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Sebastian Xabier in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 70 minutes, Augusto Procopio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SOUTH THUNDER and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastian Xabier was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Guillermo Mariano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 79th minute of play forced SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Sebastian Xabier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Xabier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Salvador Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Jeronimo Errapel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bonifacio Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Errapel in the 91st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Sebastian Xabier in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
