Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) El Gallo de Moron's Luisinho Laguna started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Luisinho Laguna scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 1-0. Nacho Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 14th minute of play forced El Gallo de Moron's goalkeeper Nacho Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nacho Gonzalez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Luisinho Laguna tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to El Gallo de Moron getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Martin Cubillos hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Colombia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luisinho Laguna fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gilberto Ihazintu's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Ihazintu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Gilberto Ihazintu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Nacho Gonzalez. El Gallo de Moron's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Nacho Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Sándor Fenyvessy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-1. 39 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Laguna came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, El Gallo de Moron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Piccone to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. Colombia's Orlando Tafalla managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Martin Cubillos in the 50 minute of the game. Axel Montenegro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nacho Gonzalez came out and tried to block the shot, but Axel Montenegro slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Nacho Gonzalez in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teofilo Garrote recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Nacho Gonzalez made a huge save. After a rather tough play, El Gallo de Moron's Teofilo Garrote got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Colombia's Axel Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. El Gallo de Moron's Jimeno Mikolas was substituted for Allan Schubert. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisinho Laguna in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisinho Laguna's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Luisinho Laguna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teofilo Garrote was slow to take the kick. During this time El Gallo de Moron's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on El Gallo de Moron's corner Teofilo Garrote fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. Gilberto Ihazintu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of El Gallo de Moron:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Colombia:s goal. Nacho Gonzalez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kevin Mastache went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Luisinho Laguna managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Gallo de Moron's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisinho Laguna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abram Secada kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, El Gallo de Moron's Luisinho Laguna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. When Luisinho Laguna came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the El Gallo de Moron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisinho Laguna couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
