USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Pompiliu Isăcescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute of the match Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. USA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 24th minute of the match Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Isidro Oliviero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nicasio Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 30th minute of the match. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Oliviero. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cassius Byrne succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 52nd playminute. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Lebigot in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ were awarded a corner. Isidro Oliviero went to the cornerflag to take it. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Isidro Oliviero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of USA booed when Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ made a substitution. Kosmas Banasopoulos replaced Joel Enekoitz. Joel Enekoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Zach Harrison hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Nicasio Abad made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. Sam Campbell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Nicasio Abad skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 91 in the game by Sam Campbell from a close distance when the talented Nicasio Abad managed to make a qualified save. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s players were relieved. 93 minutes into the match, Sam Campbell notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad. Nicasio Abad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as USA's Khalid Parry slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicasio Abad. That made the score 1-4 after 97 minutes of play. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ throughout the match.
