Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play forced LA MAQUINA F.C's goalkeeper Higinio Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Higinio Porfiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Loco Borja managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA MAQUINA F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Loco Borja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rigoberto Turi's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. When LA MAQUINA F.C's Rigoberto Turi in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. When Camilo Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Camilo Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead.
