Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmundo Espiga kicked off to start the match. Gilberto Cristos scored 0-1 in the 2nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Ondino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Romulo Jayvier in the 17 minute of the game. In the 20th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Ondino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinicio Luzaide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elite Azulgrana the free kick. Sebastian Villa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Pastor Sagrario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Dionisio Ondino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 29th minute. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Dionisio Ondino made a huge save. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Pastor Sagrario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. After the first half Elite Azulgrana were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pastor Sagrario to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Elite Azulgrana got a freekick which was hit by Juan Ignacio Mercier. After 61 played minutes, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dionisio Ondino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. 62 minutes into the game, Romulo Jayvier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elite Azulgrana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Romulo Jayvier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Dionisio Ondino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Pastor Sagrario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Pastor Sagrario in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aureliano Loramendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute Elite Azulgrana were awarded a corner. Mauro Matos went to the cornerflag to take it. 75 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Cristos came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when Mauro Matos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Sagrario got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 91 minutes, Pastor Sagrario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elite Azulgrana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Sagrario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romulo Jayvier made in the 96th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Juan Ignacio Mercier immediately put the ball in play.
