With a left leg Higinio Porfiro saved LA MAQUINA F.C from getting behind. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 10 minutes, Valentin Makovskiy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA MAQUINA F.C and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valentin Makovskiy hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Turi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to LA MAQUINA F.C getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Isidoro Playo hit a great ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA MAQUINA F.C's goalkeeper Higinio Porfiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Porfiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loco Borja in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, LA MAQUINA F.C's Loco Borja dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Rigoberto Turi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Higinio Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Rigoberto Turi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Rigoberto Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

52 minutes into the match, LA MAQUINA F.C's goalkeeper Higinio Porfiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Higinio Porfiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LA MAQUINA F.C's Osvaldo Linhares was substituted for Sérgio Berti. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Higinio Porfiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carlos Alberto Pernambucano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Borja in the 71st minute of play. Higinio Porfiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Loco Borja managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA MAQUINA F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Loco Borja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. LA MAQUINA F.C's Higinio Porfiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save LA MAQUINA F.C from getting a goal against them. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Turi in the 93rd minute of play. Higinio Porfiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 94th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Porfiro having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LA MAQUINA F.C.
