With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Warren FC - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hélio Nascimento took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Hélio Nascimento got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Warren FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betão da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Warren FC - DMZ's Betão da Silveira got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Warren FC - DMZ's Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Giorgian Arrascaeta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Giorgian Arrascaeta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 44 minutes, Giorgian Arrascaeta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warren FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giorgian Arrascaeta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Giorgian Arrascaeta came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Warren FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgian Arrascaeta couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After having played for 59 minutes, Giorgian Arrascaeta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warren FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giorgian Arrascaeta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Warren FC - DMZ fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Warren FC - DMZ's Giorgian Arrascaeta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. When Giorgian Arrascaeta fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warren FC - DMZ's protests and gave Giorgian Arrascaeta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th match minute, Warren FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgian Arrascaeta to maneuver through the defense. Warren FC - DMZ made a substitution. Cleiton Duarte replaced Eusébio Vieira. After 86 played minutes Warren FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Giorgian Arrascaeta. 92 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgian Arrascaeta came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 97th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
