Maciej Gargasz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Benvenuto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Robak in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anssi Hotakainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play forced KS Wierna Rzeka's goalkeeper Anssi Hotakainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Tomas Illescas put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anssi Hotakainen. KS Wierna Rzeka's Cosimo Benvenuto got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Stanislaw Debowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Cosimo Benvenuto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anssi Hotakainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastian Robak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-1 in the 37 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walery Mnich in the 40th minute. Pawel Wierzbicki kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, KS Wierna Rzeka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislaw Debowski to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 51st minute, Maciej Gargasz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Benvenuto in the 60th minute of the match. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 75th minute. The corner led to Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Sebastian Robak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosimo Benvenuto in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stanislaw Debowski who took care of the corner kick. In the 86th minute Maciej Gargasz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to KS Wierna Rzeka getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Cosimo Benvenuto hit a great ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Gargasz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the KS Wierna Rzeka players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
