Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Guillermo Mariano made in the 3rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tomas Illescas. In the 6th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoel Quevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Chris Bateman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chris Bateman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Chris Bateman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Bateman in the 14th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Recolta Alamor got a freekick which was hit by Allan Caudill. Theodore Cagle hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. After 22 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. In the 24th minute of the match Cyprian Rosen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Recolta Alamor getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Allan Caudill hit a great ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Bateman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Chris Bateman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Theodore Cagle might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theodore Cagle ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. The long shot by Cyprian Rosen in the 37th minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 38 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cyprian Rosen who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Recolta Alamor's corner Cyprian Rosen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Recolta Alamor's Cyprian Rosen got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Bateman in the 43rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 64th minute, Chris Bateman made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Yoel Quevedo made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Recolta Alamor's Wes Nichols managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guillermo Mariano in the 69 minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norman Donnelly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Norman Donnelly came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Recolta Alamor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norman Donnelly couldn't finish the play. After 80 played minutes Recolta Alamor got a freekick which was hit by Allan Caudill. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Yoel Quevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. When Theodore Cagle came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Recolta Alamor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theodore Cagle couldn't finish the play.
