Lautaro Navarro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 31 minutes into the match, Honduras's Sebastian Villa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mariano Lobo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in CANCER FC's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Lobo came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1-3 became the score in the 34th minute when Edmundo Espiga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mariano Lobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceferino Paulin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, CANCER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Eliazar to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Mariano Lobo. Saturnino Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Delmiro Tanio made in the 61st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Severino Emmanuel however managed to control. After a rather tough play, CANCER FC's Zacarias Mouricio got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Sebastian Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariano Lobo having to make a save. Moises Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Cristofor in the 83rd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Sebastian Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 minutes, Christian Sancho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the CANCER FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christian Sancho hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
