Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zézinho Neto took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Sport Club Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 4th minute of play. Amadeu Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 9th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredão Mesquita went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Amadeu Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Mateus Novaes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Amadeu Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 24 minutes of play, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeu Prado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zézinho Neto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 29th play minutes Zézinho Neto shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Joaquin Gayoso and just under the crossbar into goal. Amadeu Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 32nd minute of the match. Amadeu Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 34th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Ian Marinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Club Mavericks and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Mavericks's Ian Marinho got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 42nd minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes Sport Club Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Mangueira. 45 minutes into the match, Camilo Franco notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado. Amadeu Prado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Maximiliano Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Amadeu Prado made a huge save. In the 54th minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeu Prado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Jaime Cazalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Prado having to interfere. Amadeu Prado came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. After 69 minutes, Davi Rossi made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Alberto Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Alberto Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gisbert. Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Mavericks from getting a goal against them. Amadeu Prado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeu Prado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 83rd minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredão Mesquita hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Sport Club Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeu Prado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 94th minute. The supporters of Sport Club Mavericks booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball.
