The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Bieito Luzuriaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Berganza's late challenge caught a ALIANZA 1901's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Berganza helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Berganza. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ALIANZA 1901 had won after a very even match.
