Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Christiano Mangueira, made in the 13th minute of the game. A throw-in in the 15th minute of the game was made by Moises Gayoso with Eliseo Mina as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 16 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. Tony Stark hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Aragorn's Elian Müller dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 32nd minute. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to a score. 2-1 in the 33rd minute. Aragorn's Andrés Casado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. Wade Wilson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Andrés Casado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Mina to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elian Müller, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Elian Müller came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Elian Müller made the kick off in the second half. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aragorn's Andrés Casado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Aragorn from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aragorn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. In the 59th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. With a little luck, Aragorn's Andrés Casado got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrés Casado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aragorn's Andrés Casado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Gayoso in the 69th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Moises Gayoso made a precise shot to the right of Andrés Casado. Aragorn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Aragorn's Topo Lino was substituted for Altuğ Yakup. Aragorn made a substitution. Witomir Zuraw replaced Elian Müller. Luz Tejedor might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrés Casado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luz Tejedor ran back to his position shaking his head. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Moretti in the 76th minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 91st minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrés Casado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
