After some careless play in the Acratas Unidos defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Mele. The Acratas Unidos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Mele should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Mele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Filipo in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Mele was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Acratas Unidos's Martin Mele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 27th minute of play. Martin Mele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 32nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Mele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Mele was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 47th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Luca Zorita struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Martin Mele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gervasio Montes during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Acratas Unidos's Celedonio Leoncio got a free kick in the 56th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Gaona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Mele. That made the score 0-6 in the 58 minute of play. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Acratas Unidos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Alberto Tafalla advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-7 in the 63rd minute. 71 minutes into the match, Acratas Unidos's goalkeeper Martin Mele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. After some careless play in the Acratas Unidos defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Mele. The Acratas Unidos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Mele should have stopped the shot. Martin Mele was a little too slow when Joel Gaona got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-9. Gervasio Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Joel Gaona fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Martin Mele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 92 in the game by Alberto Tafalla from a close distance when the talented Martin Mele managed to make a qualified save. Acratas Unidos's players were relieved. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
