Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zézinho Neto started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Ian Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Neto in the 14th minute of play. Zézinho Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Sebastian Villa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Amadeu Prado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 28 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Amadeu Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Neto came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Dito Ferraz with Alfredão Mesquita as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 36th match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexsandro Lira to maneuver through the defense. After 37 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. Honduras's Christian Sancho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amadeu Prado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Sport Club Mavericks booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. The attack was good, but when Moises Tafalla in the 51st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A hard shot 54 in the game by Davi Rossi from a close distance when the talented Lautaro Navarro managed to make a qualified save. Honduras's players were relieved. 59 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Amadeu Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davi Rossi in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Rogério Cean fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sport Club Mavericks's protests and gave Rogério Cean a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Rogério Cean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Amadeu Prado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 70 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. In the 71st minute of the match Mateus Novaes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ian Marinho made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Amadeu Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeu Prado. Amadeu Prado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteban Carvallo during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mateus Novaes shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Alexsandro Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexsandro Lira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
