After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arano Uncal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Jaime Pardo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arano Uncal to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th minute, Gartzi Domingo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arano Uncal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Beturian Bautista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gartzi Domingo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Porfirio Regulez came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the ALIANZA 1901 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Porfirio Regulez couldn't finish the play.

After 51 played minutes ALIANZA 1901 got a freekick which was hit by Zenaido Carmona. When Paraguay's Jaime Pardo in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ALIANZA 1901's goalie prevented a goal. ALIANZA 1901's Beturian Bautista couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Paraguay. A collision led to ALIANZA 1901 getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Llin Fortea hit a great ball. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Arano Uncal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gartzi Domingo in the 79th minute of the match. Llin Fortea hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Jaime Pardo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arano Uncal. ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Llin Fortea kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Paraguay were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
