After having played for 3 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sebastian Villa ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, ALIANZA 1901's Arano Uncal got control of the ball when Sebastian Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porfirio Regulez in the 13th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Moises Tafalla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arano Uncal. Moises Tafalla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Tafalla during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Moises Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Arano Uncal made a huge save. Edmundo Espiga succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 35th playminute. Sebastian Villa hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Arano Uncal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Arano Uncal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th match minute, ALIANZA 1901 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llin Fortea to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Arano Uncal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. After some careless play in the ALIANZA 1901 defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arano Uncal. The ALIANZA 1901 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arano Uncal should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Honduras booed when ALIANZA 1901 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ordono Garriga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Edmundo Espiga in the 80th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Arano Uncal's left hand side. Arano Uncal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Arano Uncal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honduras walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
