Gartzi Domingo scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute, Jaime Pardo made a precise shot to the right of Arano Uncal. ALIANZA 1901's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Arano Uncal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 15th minute. Jose Sanz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, ALIANZA 1901 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenaido Carmona to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of ALIANZA 1901's Arano Uncal. Arano Uncal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Florentino Zaldua threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 37 minutes of play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arano Uncal was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the game, Florentino Zaldua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ALIANZA 1901's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. After 41 played minutes ALIANZA 1901 got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Zaldua. Arano Uncal made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Jaime Pardo sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gartzi Domingo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gartzi Domingo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Florentino Zaldua threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Xavier Zoido quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 64 played minutes ALIANZA 1901 got a freekick which was hit by Zenaido Carmona. ALIANZA 1901's Arano Uncal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Alan Campos got a free kick in the 68th minute. Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arano Uncal having to interfere. If Porfirio Regulez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 92nd minute of play forced ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Arano Uncal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paraguay fully deserved thier win.
