Saad Man took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robin van Persie might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robin van Persie ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Celipe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Ivan Laurgain made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. Saad Man made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saad Man saved Correla q va en Chancleta from getting behind. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Correla q va en Chancleta's Fernando Celipe. But to his dismay, Fernando Celipe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Ivan Laurgain threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Anthony Alvarado quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 25th minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Paez who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Correla q va en Chancleta's Juan Cristóbal Jadue getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 38th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saad Man saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Fernando Celipe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Correla q va en Chancleta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Celipe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saad Man narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Correla q va en Chancleta getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Doctor Sócrates hit a great ball.

In the 51st minute, Fernando Celipe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Correla q va en Chancleta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saad Man read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Correla q va en Chancleta's Saad Man proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Correla q va en Chancleta from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 63rd minute of play forced Correla q va en Chancleta's goalkeeper Saad Man to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saad Man showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Fernando Celipe notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Correla q va en Chancleta's Harry Pötters was substituted for Robin van Persie. Correla q va en Chancleta's Robbrecht Colebinders was substituted for Fernando Celipe.
