Troy Kennedy hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the game, Capo de Provincia's Arnaldo Schiller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After the first half Capo de Provincia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kyle Davies to strike the kick off in the second half. Kyle Davies recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliazar Evar in the 56th minute of the match. Bertie Johnson charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bertie Johnson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Curacao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Uriel Jordan scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Barrett, making the score, 0-2. In the 67th match minute, Capo de Provincia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Grebe to maneuver through the defense. After 70 minutes of play, Capo de Provincia's Arnaldo Schiller made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Arnaldo Schiller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Arnaldo Schiller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Capo de Provincia's goal looked a bit too open when Stanley Wallace came free, but Ceandro Zumaeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Capo de Provincia booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanley Wallace didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Eliazar Evar came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Capo de Provincia's Saverio Grebe got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Arnaldo Schiller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Capo de Provincia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
