When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. After 17 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iuri das Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes into the game, Arlindo de Salles recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Arlindo de Salles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 26th minute of play forced LUIZ PANATO's goalkeeper Iuri das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. Zhao Yue Cheng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iuri das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Paraense in the 37th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Iuri das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhao Yue Cheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aki Guardo in the 68th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Paraense came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri das Neves having to interfere. Iuri das Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedro Luiz Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Iuri das Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 96th minute. Iuri das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 97th minute of the match. The LUIZ PANATO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
