In the 13th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Ernesto Guevara SyD's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcos Tirso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dante Lacasa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enzo Rodriguez. Enzo Rodriguez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 40 minutes into the match, Ernesto Guevara SyD's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Enzo Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Ernesto Guevara SyD's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Enzo Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Rodriguez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Ernesto Guevara SyD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Enzo Rodriguez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Rodriguez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Lionel Richie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. After 94 minutes, Maximo Geofredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ernesto Guevara SyD and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Ernesto Guevara SyD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Geofredo to maneuver through the defense. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Rodriguez having to interfere. Mexico played a much better game than Ernesto Guevara SyD and deserved their victory. The Ernesto Guevara SyD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
