Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Colombia's Abram Sarmiento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Guga Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. PIAUÍ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guga Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abram Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Demis Katsarolidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PIAUÍ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Guga Trancoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Pedro Manzanares managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when PIAUÍ FC's Guga Trancoso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Iurie Chiriacescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 16th minute of the match. Joaquim Ubiña kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Abram Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iurie Chiriacescu having to make a save. 26 minutes into the game, Kevin Mastache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Iurie Chiriacescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iurie Chiriacescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute Mete Gøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iurie Chiriacescu having to make a save. PIAUÍ FC's Iurie Chiriacescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 32nd minute of play. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guga Trancoso to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Baturhan Oytun came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baturhan Oytun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Montenegros short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Iurie Chiriacescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 59th minute Mete Gøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 60th minute of play forced PIAUÍ FC's goalkeeper Iurie Chiriacescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Montenegro in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iurie Chiriacescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind PIAUÍ FC's goalkeeper Iurie Chiriacescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, PIAUÍ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Iurie Chiriacescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joshua Garrido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iurie Chiriacescu having to make a save. If Baturhan Oytun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Mastache to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Colombia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
