Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) After a defensive mix-up in MILLONARIOS FC's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Prior came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Prior read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Angelo Prior, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after MILLONARIOS FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. When Christoffer Blomqvist came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the MILLONARIOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christoffer Blomqvist couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Rafael Jauregui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Jauregui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Jauregui in the 22nd minute. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Prior. Angelo Prior dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Prior prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Christoffer Blomqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Juan Corredor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. In the 55th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Prior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theo Hernández made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. A sloppy throw-in by Heitor Leys in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Prior having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Prior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes in the game Theo Hernández did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rafael Jauregui. Theo Hernández made in the 70th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rafael Jauregui however managed to control. 72 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Prior narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Anthony Alvarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Juan Corredor notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Boris Van Acker hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. A collision led to MILLONARIOS FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Boris Van Acker hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Rafael Jauregui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's attentive Rafael Gallo managed to snatch the ball when Theo Hernández made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Angelo Prior, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MILLONARIOS FC had won after a very even match.
