Cristian Sancho scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Acácio Gaspar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Acácio Gaspar in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yoga Cura in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goalkeeper Acácio Gaspar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Acácio Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Acácio Gaspar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Yoga Cura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Betinho Falcão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

4-0 became the score in the 55th minute when Cristian Sancho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Pedro Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Acácio Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of the match. If Betinho Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Yoga Cura capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yoga Cura really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Yoga Cura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Yoga Cura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Acácio Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Pedro Ribeiro got a free kick in the 87th minute.
