Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes into the match, Correla q va en Chancleta's Fernando Celipe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Fernando Celipe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Correla q va en Chancleta's Saad Man played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 36th minute of play. Fernando Celipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Celipe came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fernando Celipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Robin van Persie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Robin van Persie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Celipe in the 44th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Escribano got free with Saad Man in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Celipe was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Fernando Celipe took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Joaquin Gayoso to make any attempt to save it. In the 55th minute Fernando Celipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Celipe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Cristóbal Jadue in the 59th minute. In the 59th minute, Correla q va en Chancleta's Juan Cristóbal Jadue dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Celipe in the 63rd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Celipe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Celipe in the 66th minute of the match. Iker Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Correla q va en Chancleta made a substitution. Robbrecht Colebinders replaced Fernando Celipe. Correla q va en Chancleta's Federico Brambilla was substituted for Juan Cristóbal Jadue. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Bruno Beldad got a free kick in the 76th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robbrecht Colebinders went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Robbrecht Colebinders sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Federico Brambilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robbrecht Colebinders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Correla q va en Chancleta's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
