The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. Zé Paulo Nevess short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Marcos Cotilla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zé Paulo Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Yoga Cura came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acácio Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Acácio Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 64th minute of the match. Acácio Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
